Report on suspected lymphoma
In December, my cat grandma Lisa (16 1/2) discovered an enlarged mesenteric lymph node package in the intestine during an abdominal US.
The intestinal walls were also slightly thickened.
The vet decided to try Metrobactin. The control US about 1 month later showed that the intestinal walls were normal again, but the lymph node package was still unchanged, even slightly enlarged. The suspicion of lymphoma quickly arose.
I refused a fine needle puncture for various reasons. The vet recommended a "small chemo" with Prednicortone 3,75 mg daily to keep things in check. I also started Canna Oil MCT. Due to the suspected diagnosis, I quickly increased to 4-0-4.
Control US in April and June were unchanged. Since the end of August she has also been getting Boswellia. At first she reacted by throwing up, I stopped and a little later started a new attempt by mixing it in a little Recoactiv. So it stayed inside.
Today we had a big annual check: the blood values are excellent and, despite an intensive search, no more atypical lymph nodes could be found in the US. ?
The vet even asked me if that really was our Lisa.
It's hard for me to put into words how happy I am. I'm just happy!
